Wim Henderickx was composer, percussionist, conductor and professor composition at the Conservatoires in Antwerp and Amsterdam.

He was really enthusiastic about this non-profit organization of which Houman Khalaj is the founder.

It is a great thing to emphasize on the pre-islamic Persian culture which was the origin and the inspiration for our contemporary Western culture.

Also bringing together a selection of high-level artists and musicians in this organization, to work on various inspiring concerts and activities, is something I really look forward to.

He wish all the best and hope to be able to think along with these great people about how to bring fascinating collaborations to a varied and interested audience.

Because of his great interest in Persian Music and non western music we had honour to have him as artist in residence.

Our thoughts and sincere condolences go out to his wife and children, whom he was invariably proud of.
